The Topsfield Water Department is requesting bids for the construction of the following Project:

General bids for the construction of the Project will be received at teh Town Administrator's Office at the Topsfield Town Offices located at 8 West Common Street, Topsfield, MA 01983 until Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publily opened and read.
The Project includes the following:
A tank replacment including construction of a new 800,000 gallon pre-stressed wire wound concrete water storage tank to be located on the existing Department of Public Works property. The Project includes, site work, site utility upgrades, installation of an active tank mixer, new instrumentation and radio equipment, electrical upgrades, relocation of existing 8 inch ductile iron water mains, and installation of approximately 750 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron water main. The project also includes demolition of the existing 500,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete storage tank, piping, and appurtenances on the adjacent site as a bid alternate.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website at no cost.
To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Bidder shall have obtained at least one set of Bidding Documents from teh Issuing Office using the name that is to appear on the Bid form. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the desinated website. Neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check the designated website for addenda.
